Singapore is a natural hub for business activities in Southeast Asia and beyond


Singapore's conducive business environment stems from foreign direct investments, investments abroad, and the country's status as a key global trading hub.


Singapore is the world’s 38th largest economy with a GDP of USD 383.4 billion and a population of 5.4 million, which yields a GDP per capita of USD 70,298.6 (2021). The country has leveraged on its geographical location to establish an efficient logistics hub and a financial center. As a gateway to ASEAN, a region comprising 10 countries, Singapore provides access to an economic bloc with a GDP USD 3.1 trillion.

  • Free trade agreements with 26 countries, including, China, Korea, the US, Trans-pacific and of course the EU.
