The buildings and construction sector consumes 36% of the world's energy and accounts for more than one-third of annual carbon emissions. Do you have an idea that can revolutionize the built environment or change the way we live, work and play in buildings? Green Denmark in Southeast Asia's community collaborator, CapitaLand is calling for proposals across the globe for the inaugural CapitaLand Sustainability X Challenge to make buildings more climate-resilient, resource-efficient, healthier and safer.
Outstanding ideas stand a chance to win the opportunity to pilot and implement innovations at CapitaLand's global network of properties across more than 220 cities in over 30 countries, a mentorship with leaders from CapitaLand and the industry as well as secure up to S$50,000 in project funding.
If you want to pave the way for sustainability in the built environment, if you have an idea to slash carbon footprint and water usage of buildings, and if you know ways of giving construction-related waste a new lease of life, this might be your chance to secure funding.
From 10 November 2020 to 1 February 2021, the challenge is calling for proposals across the globe to make buildings more climate-resilient and resource-efficient. Two winners will each stand a chance to secure up to S$50,000 in project funding, mentoring by a CapitaLand business leader and the exclusive opportunity to kick-start a viable pilot, test and implement innovations with CapitaLand.
